One of the best parts of taking part was hearing first-hand why this event matters. We met people who shared how Ben had supported them through challenges like financial worries, mental health struggles, or simply needing someone to turn to.
This year’s Bangers4Ben takes on the iconic NC500 route, starting in Edinburgh on 4 October and winding through Scotland’s dramatic coastlines before finishing in Inverness.
Two of our colleagues raised a fantastic £1,669 for the automotive industry’s charity Ben when they took part in Bangers4Ben last month. Bangers4Ben is an annual road rally organised by Car Dealer Magazine to raise vital funds for the charity. Each team must purchase a car for no more than £750, paint or decal it, then drive it to and from a specific location somewhere in Europe – in full fancy dress. After the rally, the cars are auctioned to contribute towards the final total.
