The Story Behind the Name
When we first landed on the name WarrantySpotting, we hoped it would get a smile or two on the road. What we didn’t expect was just how many double-takes, laughs, and conversations it would spark throughout the rally.
From fellow teams quoting lines back at us, to strangers intrigued by our Trainspotting twist, the theme became a real talking point. It gave us an identity on the road and made our banger instantly recognisable in the convoy. In short, it did exactly what we hoped: made people smile while shining a light on warranties in the quirkiest way possible.
About Ben – The Charity at the Heart of It All
One of the best parts of taking part was hearing first-hand why this event matters. We met people who shared how Ben had supported them through challenges like financial worries, mental health struggles, or simply needing someone to turn to.
It brought home that this rally isn’t just about quirky cars and costumes, it’s about fueling the work that helps thousands across our industry every year. Through our WarrantySpotting journey, we were proud to contribute to that support and play our part in an event that has raised more than £500,000 over 16 years.
