Minor dents, scratches, and scuffs are not only unattractive, but they also reduce a car’s value. Traditionally, cosmetic damage meant leaving the car with a body shop for several days, often resulting in high repair costs.

Our SMART (Small to Medium Area Repair Technology) maintenance plan provides cost-effective, time-saving alternatives for cosmetic repairs. It gives motorists access to a nationwide network of mobile repairers who can examine and repair damage at their convenience.

What’s included in the maintenance plan…

  • Scratches or dents up to 30cm in diameter on a single panel, including wing mirrors and bumpers, treated using SMART repair techniques
  • Stone chip repairs on damage up to 3mm in diameter and 1.5mm in depth (note: minor visibility may remain)
  • Claim limit of up to £3,000 total (including VAT) during the period of cover
  • Contribution of up to £300 (including VAT) towards a body shop repair if SMART repair is not possible
  • All repairs guaranteed for the lifetime of your vehicle ownership
  • Simple and fast repair process

What am I covered for?

Scratches or dents which fall within a 30cm length or diameter on a single panel and can be treated using SMART repair techniques (including wing mirrors and bumpers)

Stone chip repairs on damage of up to 3mm in diameter and 1.5mm in depth

If a valid repair cannot be conducted using SMART repair technology, we’ll contribute up to £300 towards the cost of a Bodyshop repair.

How do I make a claim?

Simply call us on 0800 060 8610 or email claims@wsgwarranties.co.uk and we will verify you plan number and request photos to assess the damage.

Your plan starts 30 days from your vehicle delivery date and is for a full 3 years

How do I get my vehicle repaired?

Once you have contacted us and we have assessed the damage, we will instruct a repair agent to book a visit with at a mutually convenient time to conduct a SMART repair at your home or workplace.
