The Story Behind the Name
When it came to choosing our Bangers4Ben theme, we knew it had to reflect who we are and make people smile when ‘spotting’ us on the road. A few wild ideas later, WarrantySpotting was born.
Inspired by the cult classic Trainspotting, our spin pays homage to the world of warranties. Just like the film, it’s bold, memorable, and a little tongue-in-cheek, but with a motoring twist. From neon-inspired liveries to playful slogans, every detail is being crafted to bring “WarrantySpotting” to life.
WSG Throws Down the Gauntlet: “Choose Life… Choose Warranty.”
This year’s Bangers4Ben takes on the iconic NC500 route, starting in Edinburgh on 4 October and winding through Scotland’s dramatic coastlines before finishing in Inverness. The theme is The Movies, so we’ve seized the chance to put our own warranty-infused spin on a cult classic.
Expect:
- Dramatic car liveries and bold visuals
- Tongue-in-cheek nods to the film
- Plenty of photo ops, video content, and social buzz

🚗 Bangers4Ben has run for 16 years, raising over £500,000.
💷 Each team takes on the challenge in a car worth under £750, aiming to raise at least £2,000.
📊 In 2024 alone, Ben supported more than 15,000 people.
