WSG named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance

We’re delighted to have received our second major workplace accolade in a matter of weeks after being named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance™ 2026 by Great Place To Work® UK.

The recognition follows our inclusion among the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women™ 2026 in July.

While awards are always appreciated, what makes these recognitions particularly meaningful is that they’re informed by confidential feedback from the people who work at WSG every day.

Why this recognition matters

The UK’s Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance™ list is based on Great Place To Work’s Trust Index© survey, which explores areas such as job satisfaction, wellbeing, psychological safety, fulfilment and financial security. Organisations are also assessed on how consistently employees experiences compare across teams and levels of seniority.

Any business can talk about culture, support and opportunity, but recognition like this offers a clearer picture of what it’s actually like to work at WSG.

John Colinswood, CEO at Warranty Solutions Group, said:

“To receive two Great Place to Work recognitions within a matter of weeks is an achievement everyone at WSG can be incredibly proud of.”

“What makes these awards particularly meaningful is that they are informed by the experiences and feedback of our own people. Any company can talk about having a great workplace culture, but ultimately it is the people who work within a business every day who determine whether that’s genuinely the case.”

Earlier this year, we were also named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women™ 2026, recognising workplaces where women experience high levels of trust, opportunity and satisfaction.

Receiving both recognitions in the same year gives us another reason to reflect on the workplace we’re building at WSG.

Growing without losing what matters

Since launching in 2021, we’ve paid more than £30 million in vehicle repair claims and now work with almost 3,000 dealerships across the UK. During that time, we’ve expanded across the motor trade, fleet, insurance and aftermarket sectors.

That growth has brought new responsibilities across the business, making it increasingly important to maintain the way we work as WSG develops.

Rapid growth brings new possibilities, but it also presents challenges.

As a business grows, keeping everyone connected and working towards the same goals becomes more important. Our focus has been on ensuring the business evolves without losing the qualities that helped drive its success in the first place.

That has included continued investment in recruitment, learning and development, career progression and supporting people as they take on greater responsibility as the company grows.

We’ve also encouraged employees across the business to share ideas and contribute to how WSG continues to develop.

The link between people and customer service

The service we provide to our dealer partners and motorists is supported by teams working across WSG every day.

From claims handling and dealer support to technology, finance and operational functions, every area of the business plays a role in delivering the service our partners rely on.

As our network has grown, so too has the need for specialist knowledge and expertise across the organisation. Developing and retaining that capability remains an important focus because the quality of support we provide is shaped by the people delivering it.

John Colinswood added:

“Our people are fundamental to the service we provide to our dealer partners and motorists. Investing in them isn’t separate from our commercial success. It is one of the reasons we have been able to grow and achieve what we have.”

Recognition from Great Place To Work®

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work® UK, said:

“Congratulations to WSG for building a genuinely great place to work, and for being named a UK’s Best Workplace in Financial Services & Insurance™.

This sector has historically had a reputation for being high speed and high pressure. But our data tells a different story about the best employers in this space. They’re rewriting the rules by making flexibility and work-life balance central to how they operate.

When people are supported in this way, they don’t just perform better at work. They thrive outside it too, and organisations reap the rewards across the board.”

As a business working across both the automotive and insurance sectors, we’re pleased to see WSG recognised as part of this wider industry.

Looking ahead

The two awards we’ve received in recent weeks give us a chance to reflect on the progress we’ve made, but our attention remains firmly on what comes next.

As WSG continues to grow, our focus remains on listening, improving and creating opportunities for people to develop their careers within the business.

John Colinswood said:

“We are incredibly proud of the recognition, but we don’t see it as a finishing line. Our focus is on continuing to improve, creating more opportunities for our people and making WSG an even better place to build a career.”

Both recognitions reinforce our commitment to continuing to improve and making WSG an even better place to work in the years ahead.
