Warranty Claims Assessor

Location: Aylesbury
Salary: £30,000
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week Mon – Fri, and Sat mornings 9am – 12.30pm (flexible rota basis as overtime)

Following our rapid growth, we’re excited to be expanding our claims department further and are looking for a Warranty Claims Assessor to join our ranks!

Reporting to the Claims Manager and working in our friendly, professional claims team, you’ll be assessing potential warranty claims by phone and online, whilst providing a fantastic experience to our customers.

Previous warranty claims experience is not essential but you will need an excellent technical knowledge of modern vehicles.

Key responsibilities:

• Assessing, authorising and processing warranty claims in line with the product coverage and terms
• Communicating effectively with customers, dealers, repairers and other suppliers throughout the claims process
• Arranging repairs on behalf of the customer
• Requesting and verifying supporting documents
• Answering general repair / claim queries
• Resolving issues and diffusing difficult situations
• Claim monitoring and reporting
• Maintaining GDPR principles

What you’ll need:

• Excellent technical knowledge of modern vehicles
• Calm, warm and friendly approach
• Accurate attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise urgent matters and work under pressure
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills
• Basic PC skills
